Power Rangers Mystic Force: Broken Spell, Volume 1 Review
This review is going to be short, so there's no reason for me to toggle "full-story".
This DVD cleaned up where a lot of others failed and failed horribly where a lot of DVDs did well. This DVD was the first since, "The Best of Power Rangers: The Ultimate Rangers" not to feature a menu screen that didn't move. Keeping in mind, "The Best of Power Rangers" was Disney's first move to DVD for Power Rangers. The DVD, though did finally place the proper opening and ending credits for EVERY episode the DVD featured. There was one problem, there was NO extras other than the S.P.D. episode "History" which was the first half of the Dino Thunder/S.P.D. team-up and was loads better than its sequel, "Wormhole", but still sucked quite a lot. The lack of features hadn't been seen in such a state since the release of Volumes 1-3 of Ninja Storm in 2003. I give this DVD a C- just for effort in some areas and failure in others. If you're a fan, all of this shouldn't matter and it would show Disney that there is a growing fanbase who is willing to buy the DVDs and would eventually prompt the Mouse to finally release all of those seasons onto DVD that they have been sitting on since 2001.
